Day 01 Pench :- On arrival in Nagpur, transfer to Pench.
Arrive at Pench Jungle Camp. After lunch take a short nature walk
around the property, looking at babblers, sun birds, lapwings,
oriels etc. In the afternoon, drive into the park using a route that
will introduce you to the major habitats of the park. In the
evening, walk through a local tribal village, followed by a slide
show on Pench at the camp. Overnight in Pench. |

Day 02 Pench :- In the
morning go for a game drive with packed breakfast. Explore the areas
around the submergence zone, go boating on the Pench river.
Simultaneously, elephants will be used to track the tigers. When an
elephant manages to spot a tiger, you will mount the elephant and be
taken to the area where the tiger has been found, and spend all the
time possible with the tiger. Return to the lodge for lunch. You
will also visit an elephant camp, where a naturalist will give you a
short lecture on the Asian elephant. Later explore the areas around
Piwarthari and Kalapahar. Back at the resort you can do some putting
in the golf green. Evening barbeque in the Gol Ghar. Overnight in
Pench. |

Day 03 Kanha :- Morning walking safari
(12kms), escorted by a forest guide and the hotel staff. You will
enjoy an approximately 3 hour walk inside the park, with a packed
breakfast. Return to the lodge for lunch. Afternoon depart for Kanha
(4 hrs). On arrival in Kanha, check into your hotel. Overnight in
Kanha. |

Day 04 Kanha :- The picturesque Kanha National
Park was the inspiration behind Rudyard Kipling’s unforgettable
classic, Jungle Book. By far the most striking features of this
region are the open grassy meadows, where sighting deer is common.
Early in the morning, visit the park to view wildlife by jeep or
elephant. Return to the resort for breakfast. The main wildlife
attractions in the park are tiger, bison, gaur, sambhar, chital,
barasingha, barking deer, black deer, black buck, chousingha, nilgai,
mouse deer, sloth bear, jackal, ox, porcupine, hyena, jungle cat,
python, pea fowl, hare, monkey, mongoose, tiger, and leopard.
Afternoon at leisure. In the evening, make a second visit to the
park to view more wildlife. Overnight in Kanha. |
