Bandhavgarh, situated in Madhya Pradesh has a relatively higher density of tiger population as compared to other National Parks. The possibility of spotting sloth bear, wild boar, leopard and tiger is very good. The park is also densely populated with animals like the chital (spotted deer), sambhar, barking deer, nilgai (blue bull), chowsingha (four horned antelope) and is rich in bird life. The terrain is rocky, rising sharply from the swampy and densely forested valley. |

Day 01 : On arrival at Khajuraho airport or Jabalpur railway station, meet, assist and transfer to Bandhavgarh. In the afternoon visit Baghel Museum and go on a village walk. In the evening view a wildlife film and slide show. Overnight in Bandhavgarh. |

Day 02 : Early in the morning depart for a jungle safari in an open jeep with a naturalist, into the famous Bandhavgarh National Park. Return for breakfast to the resort. Later visit the Bandhavgarh Fort, the oldest fort in the country, considered to be around 2500 years old. Lunch at the Fort, followed by an elephant safari inside the park. In the evening return to the resort. Overnight in Bandhavgarh. |

Day 03 : In the morning visit the local school and go on a nature walk. You also have an option of an additional safari if time permits. Later transfer to Khajuraho airport or Jabalpur railway station for your onward destination. |
