Bandhavgarh, situated in Madhya
Pradesh has a relatively higher density of tiger population as
compared to other National Parks. The possibility of spotting sloth
bear, wild boar, leopard and tiger is very good. The park is also
densely populated with animals like the chital (spotted deer),
sambhar, barking deer, nilgai (blue bull), chowsingha (four horned
antelope) and is rich in bird life. The terrain is rocky, rising
sharply from the swampy and densely forested valley. |

Day 02 : Early in the morning depart for a
jungle safari in an open jeep with a naturalist, into the famous
Bandhavgarh National Park. Return for breakfast to the resort. Later
visit the Bandhavgarh Fort, the oldest fort in the country,
considered to be around 2500 years old. Lunch at the Fort, followed
by an elephant safari inside the park. In the evening return to the
resort. Overnight in Bandhavgarh. |
